But the graphs have a problem: They compare time with defects. But we need to compare time with time. So the question is how much time does fixing the defects that remain in non TDD project cost? Is it less or more than the overhead induced by TDD? &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Is there more data available on the parallel projects, because we would have to compare maintenance times too.</content><link rel='edit' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/4863981320393275450/43234833461629479/comments/default/4342685803457199961'/><link rel='self' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/4863981320393275450/43234833461629479/comments/default/4342685803457199961'/><link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://blog.typemock.com/2009/03/cost-of-test-driven-development.html?showComment=1249243698445#c4342685803457199961' title=''/><author><name>Peter Kofler</name><uri>http://www.blogger.com/profile/09597605582212160361</uri><email>noreply@blogger.com</email><gd:image xmlns:gd='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005' rel='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005#thumbnail' width='32' height='26' src='http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_KsZBW3FxBA0/SnIoqPBUEmI/AAAAAAAAAAM/RIEpF66-CXE/s1600-R/code-cop.gif'/></author><thr:in-reply-to xmlns:thr='http://purl.org/syndication/thread/1.0' href='http://blog.typemock.com/2009/03/cost-of-test-driven-development.html' ref='tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4863981320393275450.post-43234833461629479' source='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/4863981320393275450/posts/default/43234833461629479' type='text/html'/><gd:extendedProperty xmlns:gd='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005' name='blogger.itemClass' value='pid-703151770'/></entry></feed>
